Classic Rods & More and Welder Series can now provide you with a PROVEN MII IFS for your 1928-31 Ford Model A that will give you a low stance and maintain your wheels in the center of the front fenders. This IFS has been produced and used for a number of years by one of the owners of Classic Rods & More and MAINTAINS the stock MII geometry. It does NOT require the front fenders to have those ugly bubbles in order to clear the A-Arms. Front end alignment is achieved by using stock MII specifications. The manufacturing of the IFS is by Paul Horton of Welder Series (www.welderseries.com) in Breslau, Canada. Paul a legend of street rod building in Canada, a member of the Canadian Street Rodder Hall of Fame and past owner of Horton Hot Rods will offer the IFS as kit to be welded or as a welded cross member. The kit will NOT require any additional manufacturing to install. Once the kit is welded just place the IFS cross-member on the front axle centerline, place the towers centerline on the same front axle centerline on the outside of the frame rails and weld in place. A complete hub to hub kit is offered by Classic Rods & More. The kit will be offered using narrowed tubular A-Arms with stock coil springs or QA1 polished coilovers and 2" drop spindles, stock MII disc brakes or upgraded 11" disc brakes. Both the narrowed A-Arms and drop spindles will be required in order to achieve the proper stance and tracking width. Classic Rods & More will also offer everything you need to produce your complete frame as a kit for you to weld or a completed rolling frame ready for your body.
PLEASE NOTE: THIS CROSSMEMBER REQUIRES 2" DROPPED SPINDLES AND 1" NARROW TUBE A-ARMS. CLASSIC RODS WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE STANCE OR FRONT END ALIGNMENT IF OTHER COMPONENTS ARE USED.
